I've put up a poster at the Ed Con, which has about 150 educators attending, advertising the listserv, so we'll see what happens... I'd love to see this list come alive. Michael, Miranda, and I went to an exciting presentation last night. Josh Cooper and Jared Alden spoke about their experiences studying psychology in Hawaii with Leon James. These young men are so fired up about Leon's way of applying the Writings to understanding human behavior; they posit that his approach could apply to any science, and after listening to them, I agree! I've had my college students look to find application to the teaching of reading, and they did that with great interest...there's a physicist in England applying the Writings to his understanding of of his science, and I hope there will be many such attempts. We could do this sort of work to build an ability to be doing true New Church education!
